Rubik's

The originator of the Rubik's Cube, Ernő Rubik, laid the foundation for speedcubing in the 1980s.  Rubik's brand cubes are often considered the entry point for beginners because of it's widespread availability.
While Rubik's cubes may lack the cutting-edge features of other speedcube brands, they remain a popular choice for casual cubers and those new to the hobby.
